Meeting your Makers: A Review of "Prometheus"

Gestating in the chest of John Hurt for several months, I've finally burst out of film critique purgatory to present a video review of the much-anticipated Ridley Scott film Prometheus. I'll be putting up a separate video in the next few days on my thoughts concerning the film's ending! Enjoy the review guys and it's been too long!

Felt and Fur: A Review of "The Muppets"

Hi Everyone!!

Well, after a long and arduous wait on my part, I was fortunate enough to see the all singing and all dancing return of the Muppets this week. Filled with sincerity, warmth and plenty of Fozzie Bear, 'The Muppets' is the return to form that this motley crew of fuzzy felt characters have deserved! Enjoy the review guys!

Spectres and Spooks: Review of "The Woman in Black"

So guys after what can only be described as one whirlwind of a week, I'm back with a video for your viewing pleasure or displeasure depending on your inclination towards my annoying voice.  Today I've put up a review of Daniel Radcliffe's new film "Escape from Hogwarts"... Pardon me, I meant "The Woman in Black." Comments and feedback are much appreciated! Enjoy!

Cults and Good Intentions: A Review of "Martha Marcy May Marlene"

Due to the power of ill-conceived foresight I have not, as promised in the previous post, uploaded a review of 'Shame'. This has happened for a number of reasons, including YouTube's copyright policy, which doesn't allow me to upload videos with clips from new releases: The people's sharing site my arse! However, enough with my pitiful grumblings.

This weekend upon entering the idyllic cinema establishment of the Cornerhouse I sat down with my customary bag of chocolate and watched the small indie gem known as "Martha Marcy May Marlene". So, for my thoughts on Sean Durkin's debut feature just simply click on the YouTube link above. As per usual, comments and feedback are much appreciated! Enjoy guys!!

Top Films of 2011

Hi everyone,

So after a four month hiatus I have once again returned to deface the blogosphere with film-related rants. However, I've decided to film a video this week on my top favourite films of 2011. Do give us any comments and feedback below as this is the first video I've ever done on YouTube.

I will be writing a blog post within the next fortnight on Steve McQueen's new drama Shame starring Michael Fassbender. If you do want to see me do more of these videos, please do say in the comments section below. Hope you enjoy the list and I haven't morally offended anyone with omissions!

Cheers,
Gunth
